Yiannos Xenis

Yiannos Xenis is a designer with a long and impressive career in Fashion, with international exposure and interesting collaborations with musicians, actors and directors and experience in known fashion houses and brands such as BARATTA COUTURE SRL., AMERINO GHIAIA, POLLINI, LUCIANO SOPRANI, BASILE and knitwear for SCRATCH. While working as head designer for OPERA G in LA, he collaborated with NEIMAN MARCUS and BLOOMINGDALE’S. While in LA, he also collaborated with noted costume designer Marlene Steward. Also, he worked as costume designer for theatre and dance performances, e.g. for Olympic Games 2004 artistic director Dimitri Papaioannou’s OMADA EDAFOUS, for singer Haris Alexiou and her ensemble of 30 musicians, actress Pemy Zouny for the play “Closer” and Eurovision Song Contest Winner Elena Paparizou.

Returning to Greece after 12 years, to establish his own label YIANNOS XENIS®, of prêt-a-porter deluxe and haute couture, he worked as head designer for MODUS and TSANTILIS. He has been invited to several international events as an honoured guest, such as CPD in Dusseldorf (Winter 2000-2001 collection), Flashback, 100 Years of Design (Most important designs of the 20th Century), Municipal Art Centre of Nicosia, Cyprus, B-IN BERLIN fashion fair, Berlin and Kotor Fashion Festival.
